About INGSOC

English Socialism (INGSOC) is the political ideology of the superstate of Oceania. It is a totalitarian system of government that demands absolute loyalty and obedience from its citizens. The Party's principles are based on the concepts of Newspeak, doublethink, and the mutability of the past.

The Party is led by Big Brother, who is the embodiment of the Party's ideals. He is the protector of the people, the guardian of truth, and the symbol of the Party's eternal power. To love Big Brother is to love the Party. To obey Big Brother is to achieve salvation.
